stay The Royal Norfolk hotel is very centrally located in London's Paddington, and represents great value for money for the budget conscious business or leisure traveller. The West End can be reached within 5 minutes by District, Circle or Bakerloo line. Marble Arch, Notting Hill, Lancaster Gate and trendy Queensway are within 10 minutes walk. All 60 rooms have full en suite with either bath or shower. Rooms feature tea and coffee hospitality trays, colour TV, AM/FM radios, hairdyers and and direct dial telphones. Some rooms overlook the peace and quiet of Norfolk Square, others the trendy bars and restaurants in London Street. The self contained Mews House is ideal for a family, sleeping up to 5 parents with their children. eat Our famous breakfast a la carte is included in all the rates and is served in our just refurbished good standard Restaurant. Direct access to fully air-conditioned traditional English 'Dickens Tavern' serving meals every day till 10:00 pm & direct access to Deep Pan Pizza Restaurant open daily till 1:00 am for our guest convenience. Breakfast Hours: Monday- Saturday 7:15-9:45 Sunday 7:45-10:45 hotel critic: harrison brown They say 3 star, but I am adamant it is more like 2 star deluxe. However, they have freshly painted, given rooms douvets and fluffy pillows- even moved some deluxe furniture from a Chelsea 4 star hotel into most rooms. At cheap £40-60 rates for double room with English breakfast, I dont see how you can go wrong (famous last words??? let me know!) Across the road from Paddington Station, and 100% improvement on what it was before. Worth a cheap stay, for the budget conscious of course. |
